PractiFI Barbera Release

Barbera is known for its deep colour, so it’s only fitting that we named this release after it. We’ve not only made some enhancements to PractiFI, but we’ve also deepened our integration prowess. We love release time, and we hope you love this release as much as we’ve loved building it.

Enhancements

  • Eventbrite Integration: Allows you to use the power of Eventbrite to create your event, invite people, check guest lists, scan tickets and throw a great event without a hitch. Track and manage your events through PractiFI.  
  • MoneyBrilliant Integration:  Provide the MoneyBrilliant service to your clients and help them make better decisions about their personal finances. From PractiFI, you can send and manage invitations and obtain a more complete picture of your clients’ bank accounts, credit cards, loans, superannuation accounts and more. Unleash the power of a continuous financial planning proposition.
  • Autopilot Integration: Automate customer journeys as simply as drawing on a whiteboard.
    Engage at just the right time with personalised email and track these as interactions on the client record.
  • Salesforce1 mobile pages: Mobile functionality is now tailored to PractiFI pages for Client, Person, Advice Services and Tasks.   
  • New Feed functions: New features have been added (and a few fixes made) to the Feed function found throughout PractiFI to assist your users in sharing information, collaborating and keeping up with the latest updates.
    • Post on a new record – You can now add to the Feed on a new record without having to save and reopen the record.
    • Delete a post – Posts can be deleted within the first 15 minutes after posting allowing you to fix issues such as double posts. System Administrators can delete after the 15 minutes if needed.
    • Like/unlike a post Allows you to give your ‘thumbs up’ to posts you like.
    • Hyperlinks in post header – The feed poster and feed parent (the record the post relates to) are displayed in the post header and can be clicked to navigate directly to the team member / parent record.   
    • File attachment fix – You can now attach small documents (up to 500 KB in size) to your posts (attachments were previously unavailable in SPA pages). There is a limitation that prevents attaching larger files, however files are typically linked to feed posts (rather than attached) via one of our supported document management apps.
    • Email address fix – Resolves an issue where email addresses would be pasted with extra spaces.
  • Workflow engine improvements: Various improvements to the workflow engine which powers Processes and Tasks in PractiFI.
    • New option on Process Type to choose whether task due dates for the process are calculated counting forward from a trigger date such as a previous task/action (the current default) or counting backwards from the process due date (new option).
    • A default duration can be set on Process Type for processes launched by Actions.
    • Process Types for People can be defined.
    • New Process Step Action to set Person Stage. Also available for Task Templates.
    • New Process Step Action to update the Employer Stage. Also available for Task Templates.
    • Edit Action layout and wording has been revised to make it easier to add and maintain Actions.
    • Behind the scenes optimisation of calculation methods.
    • Various fixes to Actions on Task Templates.
  • Bulk Transactions for People: Bulk interactions, bulk tasks and bulk processes can now be created for People.
  • Global Search improvements: Various tweaks and improvements including:
    • View All option where there are more than 5 results.
    • Search box value is cleared when a search result is selected.
  • Referenced Documents: A new page available in Client and Person contexts allowing you to record details of important client documents such as identification etc.
  • Ongoing Service Package Entitlements: Entitlements can be associated with an Ongoing Service Package. Dates that each entitlement are next due and were last provided can be recorded against the service.
  • Additional Review Intervals: Review intervals of quarterly and half-yearly are now available for services.
  • Mobile Number on Interactions: A person’s mobile phone number appears next to their name when adding or editing and interaction, both for individual interactions and bulk interactions. Particularly useful for integrations such as SMS Magic as the mobile number can be checked beforehand.
  • Premium Structure at Benefit level: A new category has been created to be able to record Premium Structure at Insurance Benefit level. Only where the related Policy has a Premium Structure value of “Hybrid” will Benefit Premium Structure be available.
  • Sidebar Menu Item Labels: The label of sidebar menu items will also apply to the name of sidebar button and page titles.
  • Provider for Assets and Liabilities: A Provider can now be linked to assets and liabilities. The list of Providers displayed is dependent on Provider Type.
  • Data Management Task Filters: “All Open” and “All Closed” have been added to the Stage filter on Tasks in Data Management to allow open or closed tasks to be grouped.
  • Beneficiaries to Member Accounts: Where a person is also a beneficiary of a member account, the related member accounts can now be seen in the person/relationships page.
  • New Primary Division filter in data management: A filter for Primary Division has been added to Data Management pages to allow filtering of records belonging to a specific Division/Practice.
  • Employer Filters for Bulk Transactions: Employer-specific filters added to Bulk Launch Process, Bulk Create Tasks and Bulk Create Interactions.
  • Start and End Dates added to Cashflows: Cashflows now have start and end dates to record the start of end of a series of cashflows.
  • Minor Analytics change: Added a sum of the number of clients to the Analytics table for Clients by Segment & Stage.
  • Stage, Segment and Created Date for people: Additional columns for these fields have been added to the Person List page.
  • “Active” filter for Team Members: A new filter has been added to the Team Member List page to view only active/inactive team members (users).
  • Additional Fields on Task Object: Fields have been added to the task object to capture the date/time a task is started and the date/time it is completed. The fields are not rendered in the UI.
  • From and To dates for Employer People: From and To dates added to Employer People so the length or end of the relationship can be recorded.
  • Sidenav Hierarchy extended: The hierarchy of advice services, member account and processes will now show the parent person/member where applicable.
  • Skuid update: Skuid has been upgraded to Brooklyn version 9.5.11 for this release.
  • Minor layout and formatting changes: Various tweaks, adjustments and fixes.
    • Various fixes for display on iOS/Chrome/Edge/IE.
    • Liabilities tweak to reposition Details section.
    • Client Entity View/Edit were not consistent.
    • Client Basics addresses realigned.
    • New Client_relationship_list page, separate from shared_relationship_list page.
    • Policy_edit page changed from picklist to auto-complete to cater for large numbers of providers.
    • “Make Statement?” flag is now visible on Instalment Type in Settings.
    • Task Stage is no longer displayed if Null.
    • Moved search box in Create Client Wizard.
    • Section label removed from Interactions Basics.
    • Feed moved on Team Member Basics pages.
    • Person photo removed as the feature was rarely used.
    • Clicking Settings in the sidenav hierarchy returns you to the default Settings tab.
    • Removed label on orgnperson_basics_edit.
    • Menu item for Related People and Employer renamed to People & Related Employers.
    • Minor label changes for various At a Glance tiles.
    • Category lists now have columns for Salesforce ID and Depends On. Not shown by default.
    • Relationship Types for Related Entity Type now restricted to Entity Type records.
    • Minor layout changes to Create an Employer Wizard.
    • Added CSS styles to some areas where it was missing, such as styles for background colour on numerous hierarchy levels: subfund, member account, group, etc.
    • Layout changes to Related Employer list.
    • Added review date column and filter to bulk transactions.
    • Updated headings, hyperlinks and tab labels in Analytics for consistency.

Fixes

  • New trigger to prevent multiple primary contacts being created for Employers.
  • Fixed hyperlink in Data Management that was navigating to Client rather than User.
  • Amended Xero Credentials setting to enable it to be modified by System Administrators.
  • Resolved an error when creating a client from another record if Scope areas were populated.
  • Fixed some filters in Data Management Interactions that were not working.
  • Fixed an issue where the edit button was not displaying in Goals and Strategies if there was a long text description.
  • Resolved an issue where the shared_task_list page was referring to Person rather than Related Person.
  • Resolve an issue where related was not pre-populated if Log a Call was made from a member account.
  • Hot keys were not enabled for various tables. For example Ctrl-S will save.
  • Fixed an issue where negative cash flow amounts below $1 would behave differently from those above $1.
  • Fixed an issue where Feed posts in an edit page would not share the post immediately.
  • Fixed an issue with changing the primary division of a team member.
  • Resolved a problem with the Workflow Engine incorrectly assigning the Task Owner when a new process is triggered.
  • Fixed an issue with the Statement and Renewal information not displaying when the Exempt checkbox is deselected.
  • Fixed an issue where the incorrect action was displayed for Roll Over Date on Service.
  • Fixed an issue where actions for Set Service Stage and Roll Over Date on Service would not trigger when combined together on the same task.
  • Fixed an issue where Person records created under Team Member context would not display in Division context.
  • Fixed an issue where the Client Next Birthday tile for Team Member At a Glance tile was filtering for all Clients.
  • Resolved an issue where a code was displaying in the header of the Task Description.
