Creating Site for Web Enquiry

This instruction is for System Administrator and need to be carried out with great care

 

To create a site for web enquiry please follow steps below:

1. Click on Salesforce Setup form PractiFI Setting Menu.

2. Expand little caret icon of Develop

3.  Click  Sites

4. Register your  Company’s Force.com domain.

5.  After you register your company’s Force.com domain,  click New

6.  Fill in the details:

Site Label : give a label (typically your company name)

Site Name : will be automatically filled in

Site Description: give description

Site Contact: automatically filled in with System Administrator’s name (if not search for system administrator’s name)

Default Web Address:  put the suffix (e.g.  enquiry)

Active: check Active box

Active Site Home Page:  WebEnquiryForm

Clickjack Proctection Level: select ‘Allow framing by any page (no proctection)’

And leave other fields as default

Click save

7. Now click on the site label

8. Click on Public Access Settings

9. Right click View Users to open it in new tab

10. Click on Full Name or Alias in newly opened tab

11. In  User Detail view ,  find  Managed Packages  (you may need to scroll down to find it) and click  Assign Licenses

12. Tick the check-box for Skuid (Do not check anything else) and click Add

13.  Find  Permission Set Assignments (You may need to scroll up/down) and click Edit Assignments

14. Select Skuid Page Viewer from Available Permission Sets box and move  to Enabled Permission Sets box , click save and close the tab

15.  Again go back to Public Access Settings ( you can also navigate  from Develop>Sites> click on site label)

16.  After clicking Public Access Settings , click on Edit  on Profile Detail View

17.   In Edit View,

Custom App Settings:   uncheck  all the check boxes  and select Default radio button for Platform

Connected App Access: uncheck all the checkboxes

Administrative Permission and General User Permissions : uncheck all boxes except Sent Outbound Messages

Standard Object Permission:  Read and Create  on Accounts and Contacts only

Interactions, Relationships, Tasks : Read, Create

Categories, Page, Relationship Types, Process, Process Steps, Steps : Read

18. Click Save (Either top or bottom of the page)

 

19. In Profile Detail view ( on the same page after clicking save), scroll down and  find Filed-Level Security

19.Right click ‘View’ next to Account  to open in new tab, and click Edit in newly opened tab  to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Visible’ check box for following Fields only and uncheck all other check boxes

From Web, Orgn Type,  Source,  Stage

Click save

Close the tab

 

20. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Contact to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Visible’ check box for following Fields only and uncheck all other check boxes

Account Name, Email, Phone

Click save

Close the tab

 

21. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Interaction to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Visible’ check box for following Fields only and uncheck all other check boxes

Client, Details, Methods, Person, When

Click save

Close the tab

22. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Relationship to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Visible’ check box for following Fields only and uncheck all other check boxes

From Person, To Organisation, Relationship Type, Primary Contact

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab

 

23. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Task to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Visible’ check box for following Fields only and uncheck all other check boxes

Description (Long Text Area), Due Date,  Estimated Effort (Days), Estimated Effort (Hours), Estimated Effort (Minutes), Organisation, Process Step, Priority,  Stage

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab

 

 

24. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Category to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Read Only’ check box for following Fields only and uncheck all other check boxes for other fields (ticking Read only automatically checks visible for the corresponding field)

Active , Depends On, Group, Group Code, Icon Name, Related To

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab

 

 

25. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Process to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Read Only’ check box for all fields  (ticking Read only automatically checks visible for the corresponding field)

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab

 

26. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Process Step to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Read Only’ check box for all fields  (ticking Read only automatically checks visible for the corresponding field)

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab

27. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Relationship Type to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Read Only’ check box for all fields  (ticking Read only automatically checks visible for the corresponding field)

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab

 

28. Go back to Field Level Security tab and right click ‘View’ next to Step to open it in new tab, and click Edit  in newly opened tab to edit field visibility/security

Tick ‘Read Only’ check box for all fields  (ticking Read only automatically checks visible for the corresponding field)

(if you see more than one Relationship please click one of them and see if above mentioned fields are there otherwise  close the tab and view another one)

Click save

Close the tab
